Matthew Kelly, a Wigan Council service manager, wrote a poem paying tribute to the staff of the NHS battling the coronavirus. Mr Kelly said he was inspired to write this after hearing of the challenges his partner faces as a district nurse. BBC Radio 5 Live asked actor Christopher Eccleston to read Mr Kelly’s words. Tom Woodward, a YouTuber, heard this poem on the radio and decided to create a short film, using news footage.
